The International District Energy Association 2023 (IDEA 2023) Conference, held from June 5 to 8 in Chicago, Illinois, witnessed the unveiling of the innovative Arcadia Suite. Developed by the Gulf Organisation for Research & Development (GORD), this cutting-edge software made waves at the event by introducing its unique approach to assessing the performance of energy centers (ECs).

Arcadia attracted the attention of industry leaders, including prominent representatives from IDEA 2023, who commended Arcadia Certification as the sole third-party accreditation on a global scale for assessing the energy efficiency and performance of District Cooling Plants (DCPs) and onsite chilled water systems.

While Arcadia has been applied successfully in the GCC region, its unveiling in the US promises to unlock new territories poised to benefit from this innovation. The 114th IDEA Annual Conference, that focused on exploring emerging technologies and facilitating collaborative discussions, served as the ideal platform for the US debut of Arcadia Suite. It brought together industry leaders, energy and environmental experts, and business partners from around the world, fostering dialogue and accelerating investments in district energy.
